Prime Minister delivered the keynote speech on our Lieto plant’s opening ceremony and officially inaugurated the factory on 9th September, 2024.

The solar power plant at Aurajoki Oy’s Turku factory was fully commissioned on Thursday, June 27, 2024. As planned, it produces over 3 MWh of clean solar energy per day.

Aurajoki Oy’s major investment is complete, and the company has opened completely carbon-neutral hot-dip galvanizing plant in Lieto on July 1, 2024.

The soon-to-open hot-dip galvanizing plant in Lieto, which is set to be the most environmentally friendly in Europe, passed the Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes) inspection with flying colors on June 13.
