The Hot-Dip Galvanizing Plant In Lieto Is Now Officially Open!

Our week started wonderfully as we celebrated the official opening of our Lieto factory, which is the most environmentally friendly hot-dip galvanizing plant in Europe. We were joined by our customers and partners for the occasion. Prime Minister Petteri Orpo delivered the keynote speech and officially inaugurated the factory. CEO Ralf Sohlström and Aurajoki’s main owner, Peter Seligson, also addressed the attendees.

The event featured relaxed socializing, great music, and delicious food and drinks. All interested guests had the opportunity to tour the plant and learn more about the industry’s most modern technology in smaller groups. We also introduced our latest service portal, MyAurajoki, which we developed in collaboration with our customers. The event was truly made special by the incredible turnout of guests from all over Finland, Sweden and the Baltics.

The celebration kicked off with a spectacular drum show by Takomo, and the event was brilliantly hosted by Sanna Laitinen.

A warm thank you to all our guests who celebrated the largest investment in Aurajoki’s history with us! From here, we move forward together towards even greater achievements!
