The soon-to-open hot-dip galvanizing plant in Lieto, which is set to be the most environmentally friendly in Europe, passed the Safety and Chemicals Agency (Tukes) inspection with flying colors on June 13.

Aurajoki Oy is establishing a new business unit, “Services,” with DI Jukka Pennanen appointed as the Business Unit Director starting March 1, 2024.

Aurajoki and Solnet have recently signed contracts regarding the design and construction of solar power plants for the Turku electrolytic coating plant and the Pirkkala hot-dip galvanizing plant.

The plant has risen to crest height on time, which was celebrated at the topping-out ceremony organized on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
