Nominations at Aurajoki Oy

Aurajoki Oy is establishing a new business unit, “Services,” with DI Jukka Pennanen appointed as the Business Unit Director starting March 1, 2024. Jukka most recently served as CEO at Cross Wrap Oy, a company specializing in systems for wrapping and unwinding bales of circular economy materials. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Alva-Yhtiöt and KPA Unicon Oy. With this appointment, Jukka will also join Aurajoki Oy’s Executive Team.

“Growing service sales has been a strategic goal for some time,” comments Aurajoki Oy CEO Ralf Sohlström. “Jukka has a strong track record in developing and growing service businesses at his previous employers, and we are pleased to welcome such a seasoned expert in service operations to Aurajoki.”

Starting in March, Aurajoki will operate with three business areas: Coatings, Steel Structures, and Services. Coatings will be divided into the product areas of Hot-Dip Galvanizing and Electrolytic Coatings.

Jenni Janhonen has been appointed Production Manager at the Saarijärvi plant, effective March 1, 2024. Jenni has been with Aurajoki since 2016 in various roles and is transitioning from her current position as Production Engineer.

Development Manager Mikko Mäkinen has been appointed as Aurajoki Oy’s Development Director, effective March 1, 2024.
