Aurajoki and Solnet have recently signed contracts regarding the design and construction of solar power plants for the Turku electrolytic coating plant and the Pirkkala hot-dip galvanizing plant.

The plant has risen to crest height on time, which was celebrated at the topping-out ceremony organized on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

Aurajoki Oy has achieved the goal it set in the fall of 2022 to be a completely carbon neutral company from January 1, 2024. By achieving the goal, the company is the first carbon neutral company in its field in Finland.

Aurajoki Oy is building a new and completely carbon-neutral hot-dip galvanizing plant in Lieto. The project is unique on a Finnish scale, as the facility will be the first of its kind in Northern Europe.
