Roadside barriers

The barriers are designed to improve road safety, by preventing vehicles from driving off the road, by directing traffic, and, if necessary, by sectioning off and protecting desired areas.

The barriers are designed for use on roads, bridges, parking areas, car parks, harbours and industrial facilities.

Deliveries can be customised for each project, from deliveries of components to ready-to-install end-to-end deliveries. Our selection of barriers includes all the parts required for installation.

Our barriers have good corrosion resistance, because they have undergone hot-dip galvanisation, performed in compliance with the SFS-EN ISO 1461 standard.

The barriers have been tested to withstand crashes, and they are CE marked.

The barriers have been classified in accordance with the 1317-2 standard as follows:

  • Crash safety class: N2
  • Crash risk level: A
  • Normalised working width WN:
    • Post spacing 1 m, N2WN: 1.0 m (TB11 WN: 0.7 m)
    • Post spacing 2 m, N2WN: 1.6 m (TB11 WN: 1.0 m)

Median barriers

Median barriers are used between lanes to prevent vehicle collisions. They are designed for use on roads with high road-safety standards.

Deliveries can be customised for each project, from deliveries of components to ready-to-install end-to-end deliveries. Our selection of barriers includes all the parts required for installation.

Our barriers have good corrosion resistance, because they have undergone hot-dip galvanisation, performed in compliance with the SFS-EN ISO 1461 standard.

The minimum length of a barrier is 88 metres, which includes the start and end elements. The post spacing for the barrier is 2 metres. The length of the posts is 1.5 metres.

When installing the posts, a base or sleeve structure can also be used, which makes it easier to extract the posts from the ground if the barrier needs to be opened or repaired.

The barriers have been tested to withstand crashes, and they are CE marked.
